What is the COSMOS 900 designed for?
The COSMOS 900 is aimed at fruit growers, agricultural cooperatives (CUMA), contractors, and large orchard operations seeking greater efficiency in large-scale orchards. Designed to prune all sides of a row—top, sides, and bottom—in a single pass, it delivers precise trimming without the need for multiple runs. It’s the ideal ally for fruit orchards such as apple, pear, or peach, where every season matters and every pass must be optimized.
It’s equally suitable for routine maintenance or post-harvest interventions. Thanks to its adjustable working width and modular design, it adapts seamlessly to different plantation layouts. Its five cutting modules operate simultaneously, delivering clean cuts without tearing, even on large-diameter branches. The 600 mm and 700 mm discs ensure precise cuts on thick branches while encouraging uniform regrowth. With its adjustable working width, the COSMOS 900 can be tailored to various orchard configurations. The dual walking-beam axle provides excellent ground stability, even on uneven terrain. Each arm can be adjusted independently, allowing precise configuration of the machine for different types of plantations. This means optimized driving comfort, fewer passes, and consistently clean pruning results.
In terms of durability, the COSMOS 900 is fitted with reinforced cutter bars featuring Poly-V Kevlar 10-rib belt transmission, ensuring extended lifespan, optimal power transfer, and resistance to heavy-duty work. Mounted on a tractor, it offers excellent visibility, accessible controls, and ergonomic operation.
