Disc models are ideal for cutting larger diameter branches, providing power and durability. Knife-plate models deliver a finer finish, making them better suited to regular maintenance and seasonal regrowth. To maintain optimal cutting performance and extend the tool’s lifespan, blades should be sharpened every 40 hours of use.
