The Meteor P180 is designed for professionals who need to work on tall hedgerows, roadside verges, field edges, or wooded areas that are difficult to access. Mounted on a hydraulic excavator of 12 tons or more, it can operate in challenging environments often inaccessible to conventional equipment.
This model is widely used in the public works, agriculture, forestry, and railway sectors. It’s ideal for maintaining long stretches of vegetation, clearing ditches, or reshaping old hedgerows. Its robust build and tilting system allow both vertical and horizontal cutting, depending on the area to be maintained.
A powerful pruner made for efficiency
This model is based on a solid, tried-and-tested design with a welded cutter bar, powerful hydraulic motor and dual Poly-V belt drive, guaranteeing reliability and performance even on demanding jobsites. It is capable of cutting branches up to 500 mm in diameter, depending on how it is fitted, either with saw blades or, as an option, with deep-drawn decks for lighter maintenance. This straightforward, tear-free cutting is also good for the environment, as it reduces the risk of disease while ensuring good regrowth. Its flow rate of 85 L/min at 140 bar ensures a smooth, even cut, with no loss of power.
The offset boom and ability to tilt the cutter bar horizontally allow precise positioning of the cutting head. This enables the operator to prune effectively while maintaining a safe distance from the vegetation, improving safety and ease of operation.
