They allow for the mechanization of sugarcane harvesting, replacing the often long, laborious, and costly manual cutting, while ensuring a clean and even cut.
The range is aimed at both individual farms and agricultural cooperatives. It is suitable for anyone looking for a productivity boost without sacrificing cutting quality.
Yes. Two types of blades are available depending on the working conditions: large teeth for rocky or uneven terrain, small teeth for a more precise finish.
Yes. All our cutters are designed and assembled in our workshop in Pons (Charente-Maritime). Each machine is designed to withstand the rigors of the field and last over time.
Mechanize the cut while remaining compact and lightweight.
Specifically designed for sugarcane harvesting
The FM3 is designed for sugarcane professionals operating on medium to large surfaces and wishing to automate a task that is still too often done by hand. Thanks to its unique 600 mm diameter blade and integrated grapple, it ensures a clean cut, right at ground level, while holding the cane during cutting.
It is suitable for both farmers and cooperatives who wish to improve productivity while avoiding the hardship of manual harvesting. Compact, it is ideal for dense or irregular plantations. The entire system is optimized for 3.5-ton excavators and ensures an excellent balance between efficiency, ease of installation, and user comfort.
The technical advantages of the FM3
The cutting head features a 600 mm blade equipped with 80 teeth, powered by a 40 cc hydraulic motor with an integrated pressure limiter.
The block is designed around a welded mechanical chassis, with easy lubrication and a protective cover for enhanced longevity. The grapple is equipped with a load-holding valve, grease fittings, and a 2-position locking system. The entire system is designed to operate at 200 bar with a flow rate between 30 and 40 L/min.
On the hydraulic side, the kit includes hoses for the engine and grapple cylinder supply, the engine drain (2.3 m), as well as flat fittings compatible with agricultural or construction circuits. Its lightweight and optimized structure facilitate maneuvers on compact excavators, without compromising performance.
Coup’Eco, pioneer of mechanization in sugarcane harvesting
At Coup’Eco, we are the first in France to have developed a complete range dedicated to the mechanization of sugarcane harvesting. A historically manual, long, arduous, and demanding task, which we have chosen to transform by designing simple, efficient, and terrain-adapted tools.
The FM3 is part of this approach: a cutter designed for small excavators, but equipped with real performance, capable of relieving operators on a daily basis. Like all our machines, it is designed, manufactured, and assembled in our workshop in Pons, Charente-Maritime, using predominantly French components.
Our commitment is clear: to offer you robust, well-designed, easy-to-maintain, and above all, useful equipment. It is this vision that has guided us for 30 years, staying close to the field and listening to professionals.
